The Evangelical Churches Fellowship of Ethiopia is a fellowship of different Evangelcal churches and para church organizations within the country and in Diaspora.
As its members it has 23 denominations with 40,000 local churches whereby 99% (14.5 million believers) represent 15% of the total population of Ethiopia.
God is at work in Ethiopia in various directions:
- a quite number of people are giving their life to Christ all over the country
- God is strengthening our unity
- God's Kingdom is advancing
God is using ECFE to further His Kingdom in many ways. ECFE mobilizes and networks the church to jointly do their ministries of the church of a national initiative without demolishing individual ministy focuses including leadership
development.
Our primary challenges are Islamic fundementalists and lack of trained leaders and our biggest opportunities are Religious freedom, our unity, and committed leaders.

- To reach the unreached
- For Peace in the neighbouring county like Somali, Eritrea, and Sudan
- For God to raise more laborers in his vineyard
